Note: National Hot Toddy Day is January 11th in the United States, however, we think it can be January 11th somewhere anytime you’d like ��5.4 oz makes approximately 8-8oz. mugsHot Toddy Kit: -3/4 c.?water* -1 Tbsp. Orange Spice Tea(FluZapper™) -1 Tbsp. light brown sugar* -1/4 c. apple juice or apple cider* -1 Tbsp. gourmet mulling spices tied in cheesecloth or muslin bag*(Add 1/2 Star Anise Pod) -1/2 sweet cinnamon stick -1.5 oz. bourbon, whiskey, or spiced rum* -1/2 tsp. butter* Bring water to a boil, pour over Orange Spice Tea, and steep for 20-30 mins. Strain out tea. Add sugar, apple cider or juice, butter and mulling spices(1/2 of star anise pod) plus 1/2 cinnamon stick to a pot. Heat slowly over medium heat for 15 mins. until very hot. Remove from heat, remove mulling spice bag, and cinnamon stick. Add bourbon, whiskey, or rum and ladle into mug. Enjoy!! Makes 8-8oz. mugs of Hot Toddies.
